We were group of 4 senior citizens from Madurai and wanted to do the Shakti peeth Tour of West Bengal. We got reference of India Beacons from one of our relatives, who had done the Sunderban tour with them.
After contacting Mr Sandeep from India Beacons, we were briefed about the entire Shaktipeeths in West Bengal and we joined them without any hesitation.
For the Shaktipeeth Tour at Kolkata, Mr Sandeep accompanied us on the tour and he was of great help. Besides providing useful information all along the journey, he also personally took care of all us. For the Shakti peeth tour, he also helped us conduct darshana and pujas at all the temples. We had taken the Shaktipeeth tour from Kolkata starting on the 8th Sep 2019. Our Shaktipeeth tour from Kolkata – 3N 4D - was very well organised. Tip top condition car, comfortable hotels are provided throughout the tour.
Since the second day of the tour fell on a Monday, we were also taken to the 108 Temple at Burdwan which was a bonus.

Visiting all the Shaktipeeths in West Bengal was on our bucket list for some time. We were all senior citizens and had our own challenges owing to our age. We were initially surprised to learn that there were 13 Shaktipeeths in West Bengal only. As it was on our Bucket List for quite some time, we decided to complete the Shakti peeth tour of West Bengal by India Beacons Sojourn.
We had already covered around 22 Shaktipeeths across India and decided to complete 12 Shaktipeeths out of 13 Shaktipeeths in West Bengal. Due to time constraints, we decided on the “Shaktipeeth Tour from Kolkata - 3N 4D” in the month of November, 2019. We came across India Beacons and after speaking to Mr Sandeep, felt confident enough to book the tour with them and no wonder we were lucky to have done the Shaktipeeth tour of West Bengal – 3N 4D with India Beacons.
Our Guided tour of the West Bengal Shaktipeeths was efficiently managed and conducted by Mrs. Anubha Rathore and Mr Sandeep, who also acted as our Guide. Mr. Sandeep was very well acquainted with all the Shaktipeeths in West Bengal and also helped us conduct Special pujas at some of the Shaktipeeths. We were from South India and were fortunate to have Mr Singh as our Driver from Kolkata to Digha. As we knew very little Hindi or Bengali, Mr Singh helped us in our journey as he knew English, Hindi and Bengali. We felt very safe and secure. Our trip was wonderful. Shakti peeth Tour from Kolkata
We wanted to do a Shakti peeth tour comprising of the Shaktipeeths in West Bengal and after searching through the internet, we came across couple of websites offering Shaktipeeth Tours at Kolkata. However, after speaking with couple of them, we zeroed on India Beacon’s “Shaktipeeth Tour from Kolkata - 3N 4D” as Mr Sandeep was quiet friendly and knowledgeable.

Smooth ride by Tata HEXA to Bishnupur
We were six girls from Bangalore and were keen to visit Bishnupur for a 1 day trip since we were in Kolkata for a week. We approached Kolkata Car Rental for our vehicle requirement.

The moment we landed in Kolkata, we were convinced that we need to visit Bishnupur for Teracotta Temples and Balucharee Sarees. We hired a car from Kolkata Car Rental and were transferred to Bishnupur. Our Driver, Supriyo Banerjee was a very skilled and cool driver. He suggested that enroute we visit Kamarpukur, renowned the world over as the birthplace of the great Indian saint Sri Ramakrishna. From there we visited Jairambati, known to be the birthplace of Sarada Devi, wife of Sri Ramakrishna. Worshipped as the “Holy Mother”, it is the Matri Mandir in the centre of Jairambati which draws large number of visitors from around the world. Later we drover to Bishnupur for a 2N 3D Trip. We are from Pune and had come for our Kalimata, Dakshina Kali, Gangasagar, Puri and BabaDham trip in 2018. We had already visited 18 Shaktipeeths before and wanted to visit West Bengal so as to cover the 13 Shaktipeeths in West Bengal. However, we were skeptical as we read in the internet that some of these places are very remote places and not reachable easily. So we got in touch with Anubha of Kolkata Car Rental and she guided us and assured us that we can cover all the 13 Shaktipeeths in West Bengal in their : "Shaktipeeth Tour 5N 6D from Kolkata".

Having arrived in Kolkata airport very late (2am) we were relieved to find the driver Jai waiting for us for over 4 hrs at the airport parking.
Our driver Jai was very smart and he seemed to like his car very much. His car was always clean and comfortable; he was always on time and was a very good driver, especially considering the Indian roads and the traffic. The drive to Deoghar Babadham was a mixed drive and the stop at Shaktigarh was extremely relaxing.
Had a good experience with Jai as he was very friendly and took care of us. Overall i would recommend the company as I think they are reliable and honest and that is the key thing.

Booked a 17 Seater Luxury Tempo Traveller from Kolkata Car Rental for Digha. I called Mr Sandeep and booked over the phone. Mr Pradeep, who was quiet a gentle person drove us to Digha, a drive of 5-6 hours. We stopped at Kolaghat for refreshments and started again. Tempo Traveller for Shantiniketan
We took a private day tour from Kolkata to Shantiniketan. We got reference of Kolkata Car Rental from a friend; so we hired a 17-seater Force Tempo Traveller. Excellent Shantiniketan Tour
Excellent service provided by Kolkata car Rental for our Shantiniketan trip. Hired a Force Tempo Traveller for our Kolkata Shantiniketan tour and as we had very little time, we started early at 5:00 in the morning and returned on the same day.
