Jagannath Puri or Puri town in Orissa is a pilgrimage town with the famous temple of Lord Jagannath (means Lord of the Universe) and is a major tourist destination with all its beautiful and pleasant sights.

If not, one should pay attention to the safety in terms of life jacket for everyone and rent out only the fibre boats with proper Yamaha engines not those makeshift propeller boats as available at Balugaon. One can decide to take rides upto Kalijai temple or include Nalabana or go up to the sea mouth.
