We, at Kolkata Car Rental provide Luxury Tempo Travellers, also called the Maharaja Tempo Traveller in Kolkata for local or outstation service. These buses are originally 26 Seat Tempo Travellers modified into 18 + D Luxury tempo Travellers with Maharaja seats. Luxury Tempo Travellers with Push Back seats offer the maximum comfort to guests.
MaharaJa Tempo Traveller Rate in Kolkata @ Rs 55 per km or Rs 55
The rates are calculated on Garage to Garage basis. Our Garage is at Bansdroni which is located midway between Tollygunge and Garia, Kolkata.
Booking for Maharaja Tempo Traveller is considered for a minimum period of 100 kilometres or 10 hours.
Additional hours, if any, is chargeable @ Rs. 500 per hour. Additional kilometres is charged @ Rs.50/ per km. Hours and kms are calculated from Garage to Garage
Minimum billing for outstation Tempo Traveller booking is for 250 Km per day for Outstation /Overnight travel
Other charges for outstation duty include Toll Taxes, Parking as well as Interstate Permit and Border Entry Tax. All our vehicles have ALL INDIA TOURIST PERMIT.
Disposal Rates would be APPLICABLE ON A BOOKING OF MINIMUM 10 HRS / 100 KM WHICH EVER IS HIGHER. Contract for a Maharaja Tempo Traveller is for a minimum of 10hrs/100 kms.
Garage to Garage means counting of hours will start from the moment the vehicle leaves the Garage and continues uninterruptedly till the moment the vehicle is released and reaches the Garage.
Day means from 00:01 hrs till 23:59 hrs.
Normal working hours are from 6:00 hrs onward till 22:00 hrs. Driver's Inconvenience allowance is applicable where the driver has to start duty before 6:00 hrs or extends beyond 22:00 hrs.
Driver's inconvenience Allowance is charged at Rs 250 if the services are availed before 6:00 hrs or extends beyond 22:00 hrs. Timings for calculation is taken from Garage to Garage.
For outstation tours, Driver's Food and accommodation has to be provided by the hirer of the vehicle from the time the vehicle is taken on contract till the period the vehicle is released.
In case the same is not provided, an amount @ Rs.750 per night is to be paid as Driver's Outstation Allowance. This payment is over and above the Driver's Overnight Allowance @ Rs.250
If the services of the Maharaja Tempo Traveller are availed for running the vehicle between 10 pm to 6 am of the following day, the rates are charged at a premium of 20% of the regular rate.
In case of MAHARAJA TEMPO TRAVELLER, only AC option is available as the vehicle has fixed window glasses. Booking for MAHARAJA TEMPO TRAVELLER is not available in Non AC Option.
Consumption of Alcohol and Smoking is STRICTLY PROHIBITED inside the vehicle. INDIA BEACONS reserves the right to stop the vehicle in case of infringement of the above clause.
A. Booking of Tempo Traveller for local/Single day rental is accepted/confirmed only against an advance of 50% of the Minimum Contract amount or Rs.2500, whichever is higher, or on an amount as determined by Kolkata Car Rental.
B. For Tempo Traveller booking over one day/Outstation travel, an advance of 50% of the Minimum Contract amount or Rs.10000, whichever is higher is required to be paid to confirm the booking.
C. Request for change of date would NOT be entertained AND the booking would be deemed to be cancelled and the cancellation policy would apply.
A. In the unlikely event of cancellation of the trip on the part of the hirer, for what so ever reason it be, including Covid 19, the amount received by way of advance will be forfeited and no refund would be granted.
B. In the event of reduction /increase of the number of members of the hirer, a request for a smaller/higher capacity of vehicle MAY be entertained only subject to availability. In case the requested small/big capacity vehicle is not available, there would be no refund or future adjustment for the amount received by way of advance. The amount received by way of advance would be forfeited.
However, if a smaller/bigger vehicle is available, 50% of the amount received by way of advance would be forfeited and the balance 50% would be adjusted towards the rental of the smaller/bigger vehicle.
C. Bookings for peak period dates starting from Chaturthi to Ekadashi during the Navratra/Durga Pujas, 23rd December to 7th January are non refundable and any advance received for bookings on those dates are Non Refundable ab initio.
